May your days be filled with joy and peace, and your research work be creative and fruitful.

The new publisher of JAM

We are very happy to inform you that the Journal of Applied Measurement (JAM, ISSN 1529-7713) has found a new home. Dr. Richard Smith, the former editor-in-chief of JAM has retired as of December 2020. He has invited Dr. Hak Ping Tam of the National Taiwan Normal University to be the new editor-in-chief. Dr. Tam and his editorial management team are affiliated with the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling of the NTNU, which will be the new publisher of the journal. The journal will be managed autonomously by the editorial team. In addition, a new Editorial Board will be established to assist JAM with various technical matters. These changes will take effect with Volume 22.

Interim working schedule

The transition of publishers will necessitate the setup and re-starting of many operations. The new editorial team will aim to resume the publication of this quality journal as soon as possible, with the goal of publishing the first two issues of Volume 22 as a double issue. Though there are unforeseeable obstacles due to the global pandemic and the transitioning of publishers that have delayed our publishing schedule, we are working extra hard to set the publishing date in early 2022. Since all the manuscripts are processed and reviewed within 2021, Volume 22 is still regarded as published in 2021. Meanwhile, we will provide the service of publishing the abstracts of accepted manuscripts online first.
